By downloading, installing, or using Candle Memorial ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Candle Memorial is a mobile application that allows users to create virtual memorials and light virtual candles in honor of deceased loved ones. The App operates entirely offline and stores all data locally on your device.

3. User Content

You retain full ownership of all content you create within the App, including memorial details, photos, and notes. Since all content is stored locally on your device, you are solely responsible for backing up your data. We are not responsible for any data loss resulting from device failure, App uninstallation, or other circumstances.

4. In-App Purchases

The App offers a one-time premium upgrade. All purchases are processed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store and are subject to their respective terms and refund policies.

• Premium features are unlocked permanently with a single purchase
• There are no subscriptions or recurring charges
• Refund requests must be directed to Apple or Google, per their policies
• You may restore previous purchases on new devices via the App's restore function

5. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the App only for its intended purpose: creating respectful memorials. You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful, harmful, or offensive purpose
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Redistribute or resell the App or any part of it

6. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, code, graphics, animations, and branding, is the property of Candle Memorial and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the App without written permission.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or compatible with all devices. Use of the App is at your own risk.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Candle Memorial shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of or inability to use the App, including loss of data.

9. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
